In the preface to this introductory book, Malati Priya Devi Dasi (a disciple of Srila B. S. Govinda Maharaj) writes how she has been surprised to learn how Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and His teachings are virtually unknown to parts of the Hindu community. The aim of this book is to make the living tradition of Gaudiya Vaishnavism more accessible for the Hindu public as well as Indian ex-patriates. This volume also includes Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's own poem 'Sri Siksastakam'.
